its go go go 1800hrs - 1900hrs at the uksa pool.
they have their own kayaks in the pool that you can use, you can bring your own kayaks if you want (no sea kayaks please there is not enough room - Darcy i think you might get away with your new toy).
if you have a spray deck bring one as i think uksa's are pants but you can borrow an IYWAC one if you need.
if you want you can park in IYWAC,s carpark
White gates, arctic road cowes PO31 7PG (for those that dont know)
we can use the side gate to get to uksa
meet no sooner than 1730hrs (we are running courses on saturday)
£5 a go in cash please
This is a tester to see how it goes, maybe we can use it for other sessions in the future.

| If only I'd seen this before I went in to work this morning! I wasn't far away and finished just before 6 (saw a red van with kayak on top whilst driving home. Never mind, next time maybe... Although probably shouldn't take my little kayak down there as it's an ex UKSA one anyway! |

That was fun , soo many kayaks in such a small very warm pool, it was like kayak soup.

... was kinda fun
... but too many boats to seriously pratice anything: found myself rolling up (or trying to) against other boats from time to time ...
... less boats (6 max) OR
... slightly longer time & slightly more boats & taking turns ?! |

Loved it, a bit warm though.
I think there was an opportunity for synchronised paddling.
It made me think about being able to roll either side, wherever there is room.
Pawlata paddles take up lots of room in tight spaces.
Darcy breathes through other orifices.
Good time of day with an interesting demonstration, the forming of sea mist at the end too
Thanks Kevin _________________ Mick. |

yap, you're right, did some synchronised rolling, think it was with Andy - guess this would have been THE opportunity for a 'Mexican-capzise-roll-wave'
re Pawlata: you commenting on my rolling style - eh, are you: let's go outside the pool, into the parking lot, NOW
... sorry, of course, forgot the thanks |

Thanks for a great session
I REALLY liked the social side of it, even with less paddle time I would like it for that alone. Yes I can breathe through my backside but not often inhaling!!
Love to do it again!!!!! |
