Last week Alex, Mick, Paul Steve K, Dave F and myself made the first Sea Trip of the new decade out into Sandown Bay from Shanklin to Redcliff bay and back. This week Dave M, Paul, Sue and myself headed in the opposite direction from Ventnor past Steephill Cove, the Botanic Gardens and St Laurence to Niton and back. St Catherine did wink at us but we did not get up as far as the Races.
Both mornings were calm and a nice gentle warm up to keep the system going. The only problem with this morning was that whereas last week there was a choice of “Hot Chocolate Stops” this week there was a total dearth.
