Thank you to all the club members who came and helped at this years Wight Challenge.
we were blessed with amazing weather and having the canoe section in the middle of the event made it a more civilized time to finish.

There were a record 45 teams of 3 who Biked before paddling the course on newtown creek. 14 club members were kind enough to give support and rescue cover on the water (and as far as i am aware nobody needed rescuing ).

The Charity organizer was quite tearful when she noticed all the club members escorting the last two teams along the finishing straight at the end. well done to everyone.

we all got ourselves a free T-shirt and a goodie bag.

Joe the event organizer was impressed when i told her all the support on the water was from the IOWCC so i will make sure we get a mention and a logo in next years event info.

... any weatherforecast what the weather will be like next year Wink (brilliant sunshine 3 year in a row when I helped out Laughing )

must've had the camera on a weird setting, all photos turned out rather 'dull' in spite of the sunshine etc. - no clue as to why ? Crying or Very sad

I'd just like to reinforce the earlier messages. This was a great day out on water that we wouldn't normally visit.
Particular thanks to Kevin, who must have done a whole load of work behind the scenes to support the organisers of the challenge, and to make our day out possible.
